As of 1 December 2020, Primary Care Support England (PCSE) management of the of the National Performers List (NPL) will be moving substantively to the Online Portal and all primary care Performers (Dental, GP, Optical) will need to register on the Portal in order to keep their details up to date and to make any form of application, including transfer of area, retirement or voluntary withdrawal from the NPL. Performers will need to register themselves individually, this is not something that Practice Managers or Providers can do on their behalf.

Please can you disseminate to all Performers on your contract, including locums as these are also Performers (and should be added to your contract with net pensionable earnings unless they are genuinely acting as a locum doing ad hoc cover for short term sickness of no more than a 2 week duration). You will also need to share this with any Performer you engage in the future who needs to join the NPL or are already on the NPL and moving to your practice from outside of the South East and may not have received this information from their previous Provider.
