It’s World AMR Week and NHS England is engaging with healthcare staff to encourage the appropriate prescribing of antibiotics guided by diagnostic tests wherever possible. The Chief Scientific Office is also sharing videos via Twitter/X from senior leaders in infection diagnostics about why this is important, and of course, testimonials from charity partners and the patients themselves, about the effects of an AMR-resistant infection on a person’s life
Delivery Plan for Recovering Access to Primary Care update: moving to digital / cloud based telephony
In the Delivery plan for recovering access to primary care, there was a commitment to support all practices using analogue solutions reliant on the public switched telephone network (PSTN) to move to digital telephony (also called cloud-based telephony), if they signed up in principle by 1 July 2023.
