In the latest Primary Care Bulletin there is information on the New Patient Premium scheme to finish on 31 March 2025.
The New Patient Premium scheme, introduced on 1 March 2024 will come to an end as planned on 31 March 2025. NHS England send thanks to NHS dental teams for supporting the scheme over the past year.
In an NHS England letter to dental commissioners, colleagues are reminded that treatments must be completed by 31st March 2025 to be eligible for a new patient premium credit. These claims need to be submitted within two months of the date of completion. Any treatments not completed by 31 March 2025 will not be eligible for a new patient premium credit.
