Wanted: 100 colleagues to trial new menopause intelligence app
HIOW Health and Wellbeing have teamed up with technology company TaraCares to give 100 NHS colleagues the opportunity to trial its MIMOSA™ menopause intelligence app for a month, and they would love to hear from colleagues who would like to test-drive it. They are especially keen to make sure colleagues from diverse backgrounds, and those who may be in perimenopause or menopause because of medical conditions and/or gender transition, have the opportunity to take part in this pilot.
MIMOSA™ provides unique and tailored support to individuals going through peri/menopause by responding to health data specific to that individual. By entering key information into the app, such as your medical history, your height, weight and lifestyle factors, MIMOSA™ will build you a plan tailored totally to you.
The app is currently available in 16 countries and is offered through employers to their employees. It aims to reimagine how females of all ages, ethnicities and genders navigate their menopause journey. HIOW Health & Wellbeing are pleased to have the opportunity to help our people gain personalised insights that support them in understanding and managing their menopause.
The pilot complements our Menopause Programme, which is designed to help colleagues feel more confident and ultimately more empowered. They hope that the personalised insights gained make a valuable difference for our people. The app is free to use and will not ask for your personal information such as date of birth or address.
Take part
To join the trial, please contact HIOW & Wellbeing at [email protected] for a code you can use to download the app. MIMOSA™ works on Android and iPhones. The trial begins on September 18th and runs for one month. After the trial, you will be required to complete an anonymous evaluation to tell us about your experience of the app.
When you contact us, they will ask if you would like to take part in a case study about your use of MIMOSA™. If you have any questions, please contact them on the above email.
