The Suspended Record Continuity Service enables the GP2GP transfer of clinical records from an individual’s last GP to their new GP, following a period where they were unregistered and has processed one million records since launching in August 2022.
To date 282,000 patients have re-registered and records have successfully electronically transferred, removing the need for their paper records to be re-summarised and reducing practice burden.
