Dental recovery plan: new guidance for dental teams
NHS England has published information and new guidance to help dental teams deliver the next steps to recover and reform NHS dentistry.
The letter includes details about the New Patient Premium payment incentive for dental practices, the uplift to the minimum Unit of Dental Activity value, and mobile dental vans. Guidance on the Dental Recruitment Incentive Scheme (DRIS) has also been published, which supports teams to attract dentists to work in parts of the country that have historically struggled to recruit workforce.
This is a key part of the Dental Recovery Plan published in February 2024.
