NHS England has written to community dental service contract holders confirming an amendment to the ongoing collection of Community Dental Service waiting list data, following the publication of the Getting it Right First Time (GIRFT) national report on hospital dentistry and subsequent supplementary Community Dental Service report.
The data collection period for August 2025 will be available for submissions from Friday 29 August 2025 for a two week period, closing on Friday 12 September at 23:59.
To support the launch of this amended collection, NHS England is hosting a webinar at 1pm – 1.45pm on Wednesday 13 August 2025, which will provide support and guidance to contractors along with a demonstration on completion of the new collection.
