Originally established as a Special Health Authority in 2012 it is now a Non-Departmental Public Body (NDPB) as of 1st April 2015 under the provisions of the Care Act 2014.
The H&IOW LDC has a long history of engagement with the Oxford Deanery and HEE Wessex by supporting their programmes of training within practitioner peer support (leadership, mentoring and coach/mentoring) and developmental Peer Appraisal.
